Dr. Leong’s Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty (Nose Job) takes between fifteen and forty minutes. The patient is made comfortable with a numbing cream and if the patient desires a small amount of local anesthetic. Dr. Leong makes sure the patient is completely comfortable throughout the procedure. He uses an injectable filler (Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Radiesse) to restore symmetry, fill out depressions, change the appearance of the angle of the tip, or other modifications that might be necessary to make the nose more attractive. The various fillers last a different amount of time varying from about eight months (Restylane) to forever (Silicone). Dr. Leong will discuss which filler is the best choice for you during your consultation. Quite often a patient tries an absorbable filler the first time, and if they like the results they may consider something permanent later on.

All of the fillers Dr. Leong uses have been found to be safe and reliable. The absorbable fillers will slowly reabsorb in a symmetrical fashion. Silicone may be an option if the patient desires a permanent change. We ask that our patients allow at least two visits to complete the procedure. Silicone should only be used by highly trained physicians and is not as widely available as many other injectables.
